Rita Hicks

Rita Hicks is a personal trainer with over 20 years of experience, specializing in Functional training, corrective exercises, Pain-Free Performance, Classical Pilates, and Adaptive training. Rita became a trainer in 2004, driven by a passion for movement and helping others. She holds certifications from Romana’s Pilates, NASM, the Cooper institute, 3 adaptive training certifications, and 5 Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC) certifications. Rita has been volunteering with the Adaptive Training Foundation since 2015 and integrates adaptive training with personal clients, working with athletes of all abilities. She has recently received her black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under 5th-degree Antonio Cicconi. In 2024 she won Master worlds as a black belt, and also teaches jiujitsu at different gyms in the DFW metroplex. Rita Hicks open her own studio in 2013, where she offers personalized, affordable group and individual sessions, and also offers online training and programming for any abilities. Rita believes in the power of movement to heal and unlock potential.
